What is a Hairball? Believe it or not, but, a hairball is exactly what it says it is, a ball of hair, often referred to as a trichobezoars, to give it its correct name.Put simply, a hairball is made from a collection of hair or fur from your cat’s coat, which they have swallowed and it has collected in their stomach.Hairballs are primarily a tight elongated cylinder of packed fur and to be honest when they have been coughed up, at first glance they look like a dead mouse.

You may be thinking you’ve done something wrong, but don’t worry, ALL cats are susceptible to fleas, yes, even the prize winning cats have the ability to attract fleas.
Find comfort in the fact, that fleas can be found on the cleanest of cats and also very filthy cats, a flea is not fussy, it a supply of blood that is important to it.
It’s what you do about it that really counts. Your cat picks up fleas from its life outdoors, they live in the grass and undergrowth and can jump onto an unsuspecting passing cat.
